With shooting guard DeMar DeRozan (groin) out indefinitely, Lowry is the focal point of the Raptors (15-4) offense. In his last three games since DeRozan’s injury, Lowry has posted an impressive 33.9 percent usage rate to go along with an average stat line of 31.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 8.6 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.
Lowry and the Eastern Conference-leading Raptors will look to continue their torrid pace Friday at home versus Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers (9-7). The Raptors beat the Cavs back on Nov. 22, 110-92, behind Lowry’s 23 points, three rebounds, eight assists and one block.
