The story gained a lot of attention, and it became to be too much for Kehlani, who deleted her Instagram account. Later Monday evening, things took a turn for the worse and she reportedly attempted suicide and was hospitalized as a result.
In an Instagram post, which was deleted but screencaptured, Kehlani wrote, “As of today, I had no single wish to see tomorrow.. But God saved me for a reason, and for that… I must be grateful.. Cuz I’m not in heaven right now for a reason.” She also added “no one was cheated on.”

She posted another photo, which she also deleted within minutes, of PartyNextDoor next to her hospital bed with the caption, “thank you for saving my life.”
